Recommended Reads

Forgive me for my lack of posts , i guess im still trying to get the hang of this blogging business and in between exams its relatively challenging..but i'll get the eventually.

I've just uploaded a list of books i have read recently (some of which still in the process of reading) on the left hand side up near the top.When i figure out how to put some pictures i might do that instead of just the list ,to brighten up the blog.Some time in the future I also hope to do a review of each.

Also if anyone has read any good books that they can recommend,please do as i love discovering new books to reading.

Heard this at an easter special at hillsong.....enchanting,i think they used this song well to reflect the brokness Christ felt as He was about to be nailed to the cross as He cried out Lord if it is possible take away this cup of suffering..but Your will be done not mine.Beautiful submission, i could do with taking a leaf out of His book.

Authentic Beauty

Recently i have been reading the books "Sacred Singleness" and "Authentic Beauty" by Leslie Ludy ,this is what inspired the new title for my blog.I can see how the messages in these books are quite hard to swallow as in this world we are built up to focus on self and fufilling your hearts desires ,but authentic beauty comes from sacrificing your own desires ..laying them down and building up the dreams of another.This video i found on a friend's blog sums up that message nicely .
